What a story!! A woman dies from domestic abuse – dead and buried in the woods, the brute getting away with it. A lonely man finds a bony hand with a ring on it sticking up out of the snow, then discovers The Corpse Bride and her story and as it unfolds, the perpetrator is brought to justice and the Corpse Bride and the lonely man find love! Unfortunately, this story too much resembles real life and the violence against women and those who escape justice!
And, importantly, crimes almost always have witnesses and quite often they are silent. There are people who observe many things but don’t typically speak about them: the cook in a bar, the butler,
In order for love to bloom and prosper, sometimes the story of the soul's murder must come out and be told - the murder solved or the murderer identified at least! Love is sometimes woven together with the exchange of stories of one's abuse and demise, what buried you and made you invisible, what shamed and humiliated you. The grace of love is sometimes more likely to descend when honestly has revealed all that went into creating this creature that one desires to spend one's life with. The journey must be made to the imprisoned heart to free it from its bonds of trauma!
